The Uncommon Wine of England is an English sparkling wine brand which was exclusively launched in London in 2018.

Founded by entrepreneurs Henry Connell and Alex Thraves, The Uncommon is a sustainable, premium, yet accessible English wine brand, which is available to buy UK-wide in stores including Waitrose, Selfridges, and Fortum and Mason.

It was important to encourage customers to take a visual interest in The Uncommon brand, so the packaging consists of beautiful, yet playful, illustrations which have an adventurous, curious English feel, which reinforce the “uncommon” quality of the product. The illustrations invite people to ‘explore’ the wines and to be taken on an adventure, reflected by the perforated edges of the labels which represent a stamp and the idea of travel.
